Mrs. Casey's 5th Grade ELA class helped us out with using The Book Creator App 

Box Turtle

We visited Mrs. Casey's @carriecasey 5th Grade classroom.   Their class has a visitng pet from the Butlington Science Center.  Box Turtles, Myrtle and Lulu welcomed us and let us hold them and watched them eat!  We learned that Box Turtles are endangered in Massachusetts and that they are omnivores.   Today they feasted on lettuce, tomatoes and apples.  We loved meeting our 5th Grade buddies and holding Myrtle and Lulu!

Today, we joined Ms. Small's class for science. We had fun becoming trees! We learned about the outer bark, inner bark, cambium, sapwood and heart wood.
